He is so unbelievably immature, it hurts.

No, I just don't give a shit. I wonder how it's going to affect his religiosity...

Probably make him even stronger in faith.

When Chuck got cancer, he became a catholic.

Different people react in different ways. Someone should give him some Nietzsche to read.

Or they should leave him alone to mourn the loss of his wife? At least let him live the rest of his life with what he chose. Obviously he's happy with the religion he chose, he's in a band that help spreads its word.

I can't help but wonder if Stryper is really helping to spread Christianity or if it's providing an excuse to laugh at it

Honestly, as horrible as this is to say in this thread, I think you are right.

Why is it horrible to say? As someone else pointed out before, a person died of cancer whose only relation to music was being married to the singer of a second rate message-based glam band. It's natural that on a music forum, the discussion should progress to the actual band itself. I doubt anyone would discuss the life of his wife, and if the debate shifts to the band, then the thread might actually be worth having.

Or maybe it's just a ploy to be sure of having an audience because of the religious message. Remember when Cartman founded a Christian rock band?

Don't insult glam, please... Alice Cooper, Be-Bop Deluxe, David Bowie, Girl, Mott the Hoople, New York Dolls, Slade, Sweet, T. Rex, Wizzard were all great bands and artists that knew how to rock and write good songs.
666th rate bands like Stryper barely knew how to throw bibles at the audience...
