With the site revamp some months behind us, I'm wondering about its popularity. I for one still use the old version.

I severely dislike the double scroll.

The new version looks cool, but I'm still using the old version. I don't adapt very well to new stuff.

I'm still old school. There is to much going on with the new one.

I'm using the old version too, so much yellow in the new one, and double scrolling blows so hard it hurts. The design is so satured, with many elements, a cleaner, minimalist design will be a better choice.

And I know that Zad and others will come and say that we don't have the right to bitch about the site because we don't contribute monetarily, BUT, what would be of MR without us, this great community of intelligent posters? A site with no viewers is completely useless.

Is good to know that I'm not the only one who use the older version, in fact, the majority prefers the older, which is quite logic

Usually don't use neither, I enter straight to the forum via http://www.metalreviews.com/phpBB2/index.php and from there I go to the reviews, news and similars, and also I've got in my bookmarks the rss feeder to go directly to lastest news or reviews. If I need to search a review, I use the old style because I hate the double scrollbar.

The old.. There's too much hassle with the forums (namely scrolling) in the new one.

The new one bothers me from a design aspect so I never used it. About the poll, though, those who use the old version probably never even tested out the new version.

I tested it allright, but couldn't get past the double scroll bars and Chris slapping his "metal artwork" in your face every inch of the way.

old because its the one I link to immediately from my drop-down address bar, and because the new one seems to run slower on my computer.

The new one does look nice though.

Old.

Can't stand the new version. For reasons already stated above.

Old for forum, new for site. You can get rid of the surrounding stuff on the forum if you open it in a new window, middle mouse button for me.

And AlexandeR, note that the poll is about the site, not the forum. People barely respond to reviews as it is, the forum and the site are practically two different things. So, as wonderful and intelligent as apparently everyone is, your point is flawed.

I use the old one too.
I find it eye-friendlier and easier to use.

I will do that from now on. But I'm old as well, new is way too busy and the double scroll SUCKS.
