How you discovered Metal: My older brother played me Reign in Blood when I was 13, calling it "the best thing i'll ever hear". That pretty much started off an addiction, hehe.
How you discovered Metal Reviews: I can't honestly remember, I've been lurking around here for about 3 years now.
Gen. info: Right, so, apart from the stuff above, I have a wife and a 4-year old daughter, I'm a guitar nut aswell, I own 8 guitars, I can't play particularly well to be honest but I love them all the same. My wife and daughter that is, because she's looking over my shoulder as I type this.

That's me then.

I think it's kind of weird when people say they've lurked the site for like 3 years. I wonder if it was the forum too, if so, that's super weird. hahaha

They know aaall about us :omfg:

I think I've visited the site about 2-3 years now. I've actually only known about the forum for a year, haha (that's when I found out what a forum is). So I too know every dirty little secret and each one of you old bastards. :D

Job/school: Graphic Designer
Favourite five bands of the moment: Deathspell Omega, Moonsorrow, Lost Horizon, Evergrey and Death.
Current favourite album: Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls
Non-musical interests: All the forms of Art.
How you discovered Metal: When I was 8 my uncle (who is a lover of all music) was listening Master of Puppets, I was hypnotized by the immense power of the sound, he recorded me a tape with songs of Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Megadeth and Iron Maiden, and well, here I am after 17 years.
How you discovered Metal Reviews: I used to visit www.metal-reviews (crappy site btw), then one day I typed incorrectly and was redirected to this wonderful place.
Gen. info: Divorced, one kid (two years old). I'm a singer and guitar player, but I've to quit my band to concentrate on more important things. The magic mushrooms changed my life for good, awesome stuff really... I tend to dislike the stereotype of a Metal Head (long hair, leather & spikes, getting drunk, the rockstar life in general). I've never considered myself a Metal Head, only a guy who happens to like Heavy Metal. Been reading the site with devotion since there was only Chris and Danny, way back in 2000, but I wasn't interested in posting since I discovered the great thinking metal community that lives here, so I'll try to post more frecuently. And I don't think there's nothing wrong with downloading stuff, as long as you buy the albums you like.

He's busy with school and stuff also. Pretty sure he still listens to metal, just not as in to it as he used to be.

yup... lurked the forum too

mostly just looking at people's comments on reviews... I find that's a good way to get a more general opinion on an album.

But yeah, I've come to know a few things about the more eccentric personalities around here :P

I always thought Fatporn was Ken until I read his post in this thread.

It could still be him...
