This is one of my favorite albums of the decade. The Hollow, Magdalena, Rose, Orestes, Sleeping Beauty, Brena. All are awesome songs. How does everybody else here feel about it?

I really enjoy it, but I must admit I probably wouldn't think it was quite so hot if it was someone else singing.

I voted miss not because I don't like it, but because I've had it on my iPod for like two years and with repeated attempted listens, it's never really interested me. maybe eventually it'll click for me.

I voted hit but it hasn't stood the test of time well.

I feel the same way about this album, the vocals were the high point of it.

I really like it. Great vocals, obv. but the arrangements are cool as well. Less involving than Tool with all the rewards, what's not to like?

I've only heard 13th Step, so I can't really say.

Mer De Noms is better IMO (more sophisticated and artful). But Thirteenth Step is good too.

It's a miss for me. Not poorly made or anything, but I don't like the music or vocals for the most part. I always felt they were overhyped.

Never liked this album or band. I don't think Maynard's performance is even comparable to his Tool albums, and the music is not very dynamic & fails to hold my interest. I think the APC albums eroded Maynard's mystique quite a bit.

I like Maynard's performances in APC better than those in Tool. I think APC gave him an opportunity to show his amazing range and capabilities as a vocalist more than he ever has in Tool.

I really like the album. But it is probably one of the few I won't actually go back and listen to, I don't know why. It had its day in the sun and now its expired. I can't really say that about many albums.
