I really don't think Edguy has gone to the pooper. Maybe Sonata Arctica and Strato, but I've enjoyed Edguy from Mandrake onwards more than anything pre-Mandrake....thats not to say there has been a load of great tracks from that era
They go from creating classics like Theater Of Salvation,Hellfire Club and Vain Glory Opera to stinkers like Rocket Ride. I'd say yeah they've gone to the pooper.
To say Edguy has gone to the pooper just because you prefer their old stuff over their new stuff is your issue, not theirs.

MetalStorm, you have every right to complain if one of fav bands were releasing shit in your opinion. But you should also know that someone's shit can also be someone else's treasure. You didn't like RR, whereas I did. So there will be an amount of people who won't like it, there is also going to be an amount of people who does. Edguy is always going to have a large fanbase no matter what they do.
You can say that they are going downhill, someone else will say they are getting better and better.
The point is to respect each others opinions. Don't have a go cos you just can't agree with someone...just respond with your evidence on the matter, your opinion, and respect the fact that the other person sees something that you do not and vise versa.
