I was physically pissed off while seeing them live. Their douchebag fans are retarded when they're moshing, like slamming into women and people smaller than them, mainly just people that didn't want to mosh. At the concert I went to people started throwing shit like beer and pop bottles and clumps of mud into the air towards other people.
Oh and Randy sucks.
Moshing is not an option, it's mandatory. That's the tag/finishing line for most of the gig flyers over here. Personally I feel moshing is an option. To mosh or not to mosh is up to the individual. I like moshing, but not all the time. And I don't think people who don't mosh are cowards at all. In fact over here, we have a lot of hard core metal fans who don't mosh. It's simply because we just like to watch the band play and headbang to it. It's just like when Kreator played here, I didn't mosh at all. I just headbanged and watched them play. My friends however, moshed and they regretted it because they missed watching all the fun parts of the songs. Then when we went to watch Slayer, a must-mosh-to-band by international standards, we didn't. And we enjoyed it. We got to see how they played and I guess it's a form of respect for a band who we'd probably see only once in our lives in this part of the world. If bands like Maiden or Priest were to play here, I can bet you there wouldn't even be any headbanging. All of us would just stand in awe.
Oh, speaking of moshing, I still can't figure out the hardcore (the genre) style of moshing. It's like disco dancing with karate chops. Funny.
