i watched the Entourage season finale...dont get why people like this show

True Blood season finale - seemed rushed and too many questions that have to be answered next season. if there is a season 2...

Dexter - its getting good

True Bloods intro is pretty long. But the more I see it, the better I like the song.

Yeah. A one minute opening for a show that doesn't even run 30 minutes is crazy. The finale was good though, and the season has been solid.

Dexter has also been great this season. Not so much murdering people, but more drama. Can't wait to see the rest of the season.

Watching The Wire season three and it's so far the best stuff I've seen from HBO. The reason it surpasses Carnivále is simply because Carnivále never finished its storyline. Otherwise I'm sure they'd be tied.

Also watching How I Met Your Mother. The thing that really bothers me about this show is the guy they cast as the main character. The rest of the cast is really good, especially Neil Patrick Harris, but the main guy just can't carry the role, and his character pretty much sucks as well. Otherwise this is a decent show, it's pretty hard to find good comedy after having seen Trailer Park Boys, so I'm happy with anything I can get.

HIMYM is great, but like 80% of the humor comes from NPH's character. Barney Stinson is one of the coolest characters i've ever seen in a comedy show.

Oh man Dexter is so good this season after starting out so slowly. I haven't seen the episode from this week but last week's was so dramatic with the first kill and everything it was so tense.

The latest episode of Dexter was fucking amazing. The incredible hulk scene was awesome and the fact that he is going to kill the skinner and most likely Miguel by the end of the season the pace is only going to pick up in speed.

Heroes is so-so. House is getting better but needs a new angle and some pizazz.

Smallville is picking up nicely with the first glimpse of this seasons main nemesis. Cloverfield here we come!!

Boston Legal remains one of the sharpest shows on tv, such a shame just a few episodes more and then its over for good.

My wife and I are really enjoying Privileged, a show for teens but great fun.

Currently somewhere in the middle of (this is like, several month's watching):

Curb Your Enthusiasm s1 - Really enjoying this, like Extras meets Woody Allen, although I suspect I'm missing the Seinfeld references, if there are any.

X Files s1 - Perfect late-night sort-of-spooky watching. A bit dated, but fun.

The Shield s6 - nearly finished this; when's the next (and last :( )season out on DVD, Wally?

Alias s5 - getting a bit bored with this, but will try and finish it.

The 4400 last season - still like this, just odd enough to be enjoyable.

I don't think Curb makes any references to Seinfeld, there are some great cameos though. I always thought of Curb as a continuation of Seinfeld, it has all of the things that made Seinfeld good, and because Larry David can do whatever he wants with the show, it even surpasses Seinfeld. Larry David is the funniest person in the world in my opinion, it's just a shame that the more recent seasons have been pretty shitty.

Ah, ok then. Not seen much Seinfeld at all, was worried I was missing out on in-jokes.

In other news, I'm pissed off. Finally bought The West Wing s1 the other day, only to discover that HMV are selling the complete boxset for £50! Do Amamazozon let you return stuff unopened? Not sure I can be bothered special deliverying it and all.

It does help to know Seinfeld a little bit in order to appreciate Curb fully, but not that much. When Jason Alexander starts appearing in some episodes then it probably helps to be familiar with the character of George, but that's all I can think of.

Curb is one of my favourite shows of all time.

Adult Swim is usually retarded, but Superjail is one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life.

No way, James Spader plays the same creepy lawyer in every show or movie he's in, he just creeps me the fuck out
