Why do you like music?

I emphasize the word "claim" because I just can't believe a statement like that is true. Besides which, he's a fucking asshole that no one likes, and he probably just says that to piss people off.

If he's lying though, he's making a huge effort of it. He's been insisting literally for years, since we were still at school. He says there is not one type of music he's ever heard that he's fond of.

Anyway, the point is I know someone who at least claims to not like any form of music, so I guess it could theoretically be possible.

I feel sorry for him. Going around being bitter and disliking things is not healthy.

To connect with other like minded people that have similar taste in melody to myself. and to learn from them. Not only musically, but also about life. how they feel and why.

I treat music like art because it affects me as such. I can't get that from paintings, movies, comedy or any other entertainment outlet. When I listen to someone who feels similar to me make music its like a new level of communication. On top of that, if their words don't affect me because I disagree with their message, their music will if I like them and that makes me respect their opinions.

It's the universal language. If there's good music, even if you don't know the language... everyone can relate to a good beat. It helps me when I'm in a bad mood, and it helps me when I'm in a great mood. There is music for every single feeling that we feel. I think that's amazing.
