New album will appear this month. I already pre-orderd it, hopefully it will be anywhere near Recreation Day and not a second Monday Morning Apocalypse.

Currently you can listen to the whole album from their MySpace page. I'm liking it a lot so far.

I went over and gave it a listen. I'm not much of an Evegrey fan; I only have Monday Morning Apocalypse and The Inner Circle so far. After listening to what they had posted nothing really stood out or caused me to take particular notice. I liked it but I found the material to be sort of average. I was kind of upset about it too because I have been really looking forward to this CD. Who knows, maybe my view will change after a few listens.

+1 A lot of good tracks, but nothing outstanding. I could see it being one of those CDs that I listen to for a week only to forget about it after words. I need to hear it more though, but Evergrey's always been hit or miss with me.

Have spun this one 4 or 5 times now & I'm not finding much that is memorable here. Not up to par with their earlier albums.

Hmm, out of the two albums I have (Recreation Day & The Inner Circle) I really prefer the newest... will have to check out this one and "In Search Of Truth".

Torn is basically a mixture of In Search of Truth and Recreation Day.
After many Spins I'm pretty found of Torn and I like it much more than Monday Morning Apocalypse and The Inner Circle.

I found it to be their most consistent album so far. More aggressive than their previous albums, yet with the same dark tone lyrics that we are used to from their first 3-4 albums. There's some great tracks on here too.

I've also reviewed this on Metal CD Ratings
