As always popular music here follows the American trends. I know they are kinda popular on the main continent, but not to the sorta J-Rock fangirlism state of things.

Why? If you're the type of person that finds that funny, knowing someone that has to live with a face like that doesn't make it not funny all of a sudden. Don't pretend to be a good person to avoid social entanglements, whatever you do.
