Google finds everything but can it find me a date? CAN IT? I think it should. I'm not gonna stick 3 billion pages for "Jessica Alba" up my ass and other than that I don't see the use.

I think I'm starting to like Protest The Hero. I think.

And I found out today that a C Major 7 flat 5 chord sounds really good when resolving down to a d minor chord.

Hmm, I don't know what to think about that. If it weren't an isolated incident though it would probably be more effective against global warming.

juries should be deciding whether the law was broken, not what the law should be.

David Foster Wallace died. Suicide, apparently. He was the author of Infinite Jest.

Sucks. He was a really great author.

Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain's intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt." McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day.

So my power was out all day yesterday supposedly because of a wind storm from Hurricane Ike.

The day before that my friends and me went to this redneck bowling alley with a high tech fancy jukebox which had an internet database of music to choose from. For the low sum of $2.50, we made a bunch of rednecks listen to the entire album, Frances the Mute by Mars Volta. People got pissed that "it had been an hour since they paid for a song and it still hasn't played yet."

Proving again that Bruce is a very friendly guy, with his heart in the right place. But being called a hero when he was just doing his job is a tad much.

It was weird, I had a revelation or something earlier today about how preconceived ideas about artists really affect how we hear the music. I was listening to Systematic Chaos and thinking about how it's a pretty disappointing album from Dream Theater, but then I realized that if it was by Yngwie Malmsteen or some other shred guitarist I would be really impressed with the quality. So conclusions: we are definitely affected by what we think of the artist and John Petrucci is underrated as a technical guitarist because his music absolutely owns that of similar players.

World's smallest man with world's longest-legged woman.

I love his hairdo. It makes him look trendy like one of Angelina Jolie's kids.
