Counting that stuff this close to metal can't be counted I love the Manic Street Preachers.

in that case... hmm it's really hard to decide because I've been listening to metal or stuff similar to metal but I'll say... PRODIGY!

I'd have to go with Floyd or Depeche Mode.

Kyuss and Queens Of The Stone Age would probably tie for second.

The only music outside of metal I've ever truly liked was orchestral, and I don't have any composers that really stick out in my head.

I also like the Goo Goo Dolls, John Mellenmcamp, and Journey a lot and I wish that Michelle Branch would make a return to music. I loved her voice.

I just forgot to mention them in my earlier "Cold" post.

Probably Kiss or something like that. Yeah I know close-to-metal band but who cares. When I'm by myself I only listen to metal, nothing else. The contrast between melodic power metal and slam death metal is enough for me. When I'm with friends or a party or something like that we listen to everything from metal to psychobilly to country to jazz.

Probably Moon Safari, Blomljud is the best symphonic prog album of this decade....in my oh so humble opinion. Their debut A Dooway To Summer is also some of the best prog i've ever heard. Check these guys out pronto!
