I can live with arrogance, but it's not arrogance in this case (I wasn't dealing seriously with statistics myself until a few weeks ago, actually). More like exasperation. I was frustrated at how my explanations seemed to fall on def ears and how I was made out to be the bad guy. Replies like defending my "silly" posts with statistics didn't help either. You need statistics to compare two football players, let alone countries. But yeah, I probably got carried away.
