I'm going to give the new one a while before I give my final verdict. Don't know about the packaging though envelope idea looks good but probably wont last that well. The extras on the dvd are pretty cool though.

I know big bands like this get heaps of hype and lots of the fanboys always say the latest is their best but this is really good. Got me in quicker than their last and the lineup changes haven't hurt.

Noticed there's no ghost on the cover of this one. For those not aware, every Opeth cover from My Arms Your Hearse onwards has a ghost hidden in the image somewhere.

Take a look at the dot left of centre. Once you see it, it's ridiculously obvious.

Whoa. Post the rest and point them out, pls. I've always thought there was something ghostly about the Damnation/Deliverance covers, but never actually saw 'it'.

so far the best theory for who the guy is is that he's a collage of the band members's faces

Blackwater Park and Ghost Reveries are ridiculously obvious.

Check the shadow the rock by the water makes.

There's a face in the mirror in the background.

The Damnation one is on the back cover, I believe. Couldn't find an image. Morningrise and Orchid don't have 'em.

I actually think you are right!

look at he left eye, that has to be Mikael. the entire right of the face looks like Mendez, the nose has got to be the Pear :D

The rest is a little harder :D
