See what happened to Misha? He got curious... Those metalheads that never change are stupid fucks unable to sense that there is more than their beloved metal...
IMO Misha was never a metalhead.
Honestly i got nothing against brodening your horizons, i believe you should listen to whatever you like, but i do think that non metal reviews on a metal site is a no, and this has nothing to do with being true or kult or whatever as this site is anything but trve or kvlt (and thats why i like it) , but because it just doesnt fit with the site, i know there are some bands that are hard to define within a genre and might be ok to be included on a metal site, but there are some that clearly dont, saying Foo Fighters or Pearl Jam are metal is obviously wrong, and i do like some Pearl Jam (No Code is My favourite) so why include them here? seriously if you want to talk about how cool is the new Foo Fighters album, why not just make a post on this very same forum? (or like Ken and his mini reviews) of course i know im in the minority and in the end you reviewers can do whatever you like but i still think that Metal Reviews should stay metal reviews.
Since when do you have to be a metalhead to appreciate metal?

I'm not a metalhead either but metal is one of the "genres" I enjoy and Misha or Zad or Rio are in the same position. Being a metalhead is, if it means you have to be true to metal and never listen to anything that's not remotly linked to it, is very stupid.
I'm not saying any of you guys should force himself to listen to other music genres or anything mind you but excluding this or that artist just because is not metal is just nonsense !
And I don't see the problem of having a few non-metal albums reviewed on a metal website... It brings a different perspective than it'd do on another website and may interest some people that didn't think about it in the first place.
Look at the genres that have been reviewed this week: Ambient/ Electronica, Neofolk, Soft Rock... And the week before that: Dark Ambient Drone, Blues Hard Rock... Does these fit a metal website in your book? Imho, they don't but, who the fuck cares as long as the other stuff gets reviewed too and if it appeals to some of the forumites?
If one of the team want to review the new Britney Spears FROM A METAL PERSPECTIVE, I'm all for it as long as there's more "real" metal albums reviewed alonside...
Just my two cents...
