I've tried to listen to Master of Puppets but it didn't even send a tingle of energy through my spine. Same for Kill 'em All. Ride The Lightning has a few good songs but they tend to get old fast. I guess Metallica just isn't my band.

Load has, indeed, a couple (7 imho) excellent songs. And since the rest of the album is quite decent too... :dio:

I've grown to like pretty much every song on Load. Particularly, the first three songs, King Nothing, Bleeding Me, Cure, and especially The Outlaw Torn are great. Even Poor Twisted Me is a cool song once you realize the "whoa-is-me" lyrics are supposed to be a joke/parody.

Yeah, the other albums tend to appeal to people who place some value in their dick. Perhaps the long songs on Justice comehow compensate something for you.

Justice is a boring album... If it's the only album you really tried listening, that was a terrible mistake...


Well, I beg to differ. Justice is probably Metallica's overall best album IMO.

The one thing Justice needed IMO was a crunchier guitar sound. The production gave the guitars a rather thin/weak sound. I really hope Metallica eventually decides to remaster it so that we can hear it the way it was meant to be heard.

...And Justice for All is a great album, although not easy to get into. It has to take time to grow on you.
