There are really some excellent series on TV currently. Jerciho's second season is kicking into top gear with excellent pacing, acting and action. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the best new series and lives up to the whole Terminator name.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles isn't doing so well.. it's on the verge of cancellation from what I heard. In my opinion it's very far from being the best new show, my vote goes to Chuck.
The show just got picked up for another 13 episodes!! Yeah!!
Oh for fuck's sake...
My bet is they won't even get to air half of those as it'll surely get an early cancellation next fall. Too many better shows are on the air right now and that's not counting the new shows that will debut next fall.
Your predictions have been spot on so far. Let's hope they stay that way.

The show barely survived so my predictions weren't that off. The only reason it survived was due to the writers strike. They simply want to see if it'll do better next year without the long hiatus. If they were so sure about themselves why only renew it for half a season ? Like mentioned before, all points to high probabilities that it will eventually get canceled if it doesn't get decent viewer ratings, especially since it's a high budget series. Only time will tell.
Get your facts straight.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/con ... 5ceb5ff4dfFrom the article: "Connor," which launched in January, is the highest-rated new scripted series this season among adults 18-49 with an average of a 4.4 rating/10 share. The Warner Bros. TV-produced series drew an average of 10.5 million total viewers.
"Connor" had been considered a shoo-in for a renewal, along with Fox's freshman comedy "Back to You," which has yet to be picked up.
Online petition for it's renewal mentions ratings were disappointing.

"Also, the ratings weren't that great, and that was while competing against a strike-addled prime time landscape"

"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles wasn't the ratings hit that FOX had likely hoped for. FOX hyped the living hell out of the series prior to air, and the first episode pulled in a big audience, but after that the ratings were just OK. "

"the show suffered a ratings drop from a 11.11 for the series premiere, 6.2 for the second episode, to a 5.0 for the season finale (which was actually up 0.6 points from two episodes prior)"

Check the Nielsen ratings table shows how mediocre it's ratings where as the season passed:

you can also check the futon critics website for rating stats.

You can see it was never really tops on nights it played with the exception of the premiere. In fact, it trailed quite far from the top shows. Like I mentioned before, this is a high budget production so thinking this series is on a limb isn't far fetched. If Fox doesn't get the desired ratings next fall "the trigger happy" network will surely cancel it.
