Howdy cowpokes,
yep, I'm still alive. Right now I'm in my final 2 months(ish) of uni and the pressure is on big time. Can't wait for this shite to be over and done with, though. Pretty soon I'll have my new laptop with internets. Right now I'm on the uni computers, all alone in the room waiting for this shit-awful 8am lecture to start. An I just ates a McDonalds Delux Brekkie Roll.
So here's a quick dot-point update on stuff (I ain't got much time):
* I got a "new" car. It's a '97 Toyota Celica, black, and in immaculate condition. Right now I'm looking for a Decepticon sticker to put on it. I'll post pics eventually.
* Selling our house at the end of this year to upgrade to a more family-friendly one, since we is going to make Tlaloclings in the near future (nobody's pregnant though, it's just part of the plan)
* I have my final prac in a few weeks, where I get my Suitability Rating for teaching, 1 being the highest and 4 being a future career in mixing concrete. Very nervous since the last 6 years of (cumulative) study all boil down to this one interview.
* Went to both Bundaberg and Melbourne recently. Bundaberg is ok if you like endless fields of sugar cane. Melbourne (in my opinion) is like one enormous public toilet. I'll expand on that soon.
* I SAW IRON MAIDEN IN CONCERT!!!!! It was absolutely awesome! The funniest part was the emo band that supported them. Imagine a venue of about 10,000 people with either raised middle fingers and/or downturned thumbs spitting vile hatred and boos towards this pathetic little band. Pure poetry.
* Tonight I'm going the skinhead for charity. I haven't actually raised any money, but I'm using it as an excuse.
* And finally, if you are at an event where you are representing both yourself as a professional and the school you are assosciated with, don't write "to be the meat in a Minogue sandwich" when asked by a vice principal to label your future goals.
Gotta go to me lecture now.
