Apart from that, I'm drawing a blank .

Awesome choice. You should get Legacy of Blood also, if you haven't already.

Agreed, JMT is real hip-hop, which basically means it goes basically unnoticed in today's "rap" landscape. I would get Violent by Design also if you don't have it.

I fucking love JMT, I'd go with Violent Design too, I think their best album by far.

I was wondering if anyone else here listened to them. The new one definitely continues in the vein of Grinderman but maintaining the original Bad Seeds sound.

As for the forum topic, I picked up the new Nick Cave album and 'The Good Son', Deadboy and the Elephantmen 'We Are Night Sky', the Peeping Tom album and Muse 'Absolution'. All good albums and most with metal connections.

The last non metal CD was some Gregorian chants that I picked up on Amazon.

If you like the band, definately. It's a slightly different style, much sadder (esp. Boatman's Call and No More...) but fantastic albums all. AB/LoO has a good mixture on it, some nice n' catchy stuff there.

Must get that Grinderman album. And have you heard anything by The Birthday Party, Cave's old band? Avant-gardey Rock, like Pere Ubu if you've heard of them, worth checking...

What kind of stuff does Cat Power play? I've seen the name around quite a bit...

And that's a great WS album.

The last non-metal CD I bought was Adjagas' self-titeld debut CD. Traditional Sami yoik music sanitised for hipsters, but still very cool and very relaxing. A great deal of it is a capella.

Actually, I tell a lie. The other day I bought Thirteen by Teenage Fanclub for just £3. Then it turned out not only to be the version with the 4-track bonus CD, but also that the main disc has no less than six bonus tracks not listed on the CD on it. 23 Fannies songs for £3! :dio:

Im getting to that point too, a buddy just loaned me his copies of Shock and Awe, and sweatbox. Have you read any of his books? I have been looking to pick up something by him but i don't know where to start since it seems allot of them are black flag related and i could care less about that.
