Huge Alias fan here, seen each season at least 3 times each lol.
First two seasons where the best, season 3 was mixed and 4-5 a little better than the 3rd. I was glad they were able to finish off the series correctly even though if the where able to have the 3 more episodes they were promised it would have made for a less rushed ending.

@Zad: you asked me yesterday about Alias on msn you probably missed this post of mine

I'm just about done watching the US version of The Office. While I loved the original, I think the US version is better. Mostly because the characters are much deeper and have more interaction going on between them, almost all of the characters have a funny relation to each other. I think the original was too centered on Gervais' character and it was much less colorful.

Sorry, I disagree. The point of the original was that it the characters were just a bunch of every day schlubs. And that every character on a TV show doesn't need an individual quirk or archetype to adhere to.

Sure, I understand that. But I don't see how that makes the original show better.

Well...because it's succeeding more making in the point both versions are trying to put across - that you are watching a documentary of a real office. I do like the American version, it's not some Brit (yech) superiority complex or saying the original is better simply because it's the original...I just think it does what it sets out to do in a more convincing (and therefore funnier) way.

There are really some excellent series on TV currently. Jerciho's second season is kicking into top gear with excellent pacing, acting and action. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the best new series and lives up to the whole Terminator name.

Also watched the Stargate SG1 movie Ark of Truth and it nicely concludes the Ori story arc started in the last few seasons of SG1. Great special effects and story make this more than just another TV movie.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles isn't doing so well.. it's on the verge of cancellation from what I heard. In my opinion it's very far from being the best new show, my vote goes to Chuck.

TO ALL ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT FANS (a.k.a., anyone with good taste).

A movie is being made! Wooo! Goddamn awesome. Apparently Jason Bateman (Michael) and Will Arnett (GOB) have confirmed that its being written right now.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0901469/

Ray Stevenson of Rome (Titus Pullo) has also confirmed that there's a possibility of a Rome movie... Which, combined with this Arrested Development movie, has made me orgasm 17.34 times, since they are my favourite two shows.

I wonder how they'll pull this one off. Arrested Development is one of my favorite shows, so I hope they'll do it justice.

No, I've seen the entire first two episodes and unless you agree these two were completely awful and can convince me the rest somehow improve twentyfold then I have no interest in repeating the mistake a third time.

Don't waste your time with this show, you made the right decision after the first two episodes. It's also on the verge on cancellation...well that is if it ain't canceled already.

Anyone seen the new South Park episode yet?

Easily one of the best episodes in the last 3 seasons. Even though I'm kind of sick of Kyle and Cartman fighting all the time it actually worked in this one.

Started Rome last night. Not bad first episode, but I was expecting more...

Is this historically accurate, Brahms? Funny how Conn Iggulden presented Brutus as an Arnie-clone fighting machine and here he's a spoilt toff.
