Am I really the only person here who likes Alias? Season 3 arrived yesterday, looking forward to that.

Edit: Love Lost. The little brother likes Prison Break, saw first episode and it didn't draw me in...

Alias is great. I watched it about two years ago though, not sure if I saw all the episodes. Oh, and Alias has one of the best season finale-cliffhangers I've ever seen.

Shure does, s2 at least. Might start 3 later...

Finished s1 of Deadwood. Very, very good, highly recommended.

I thought it was enjoyable, in a light-crime-comedy-drama kind of way.

I need someone to tell me, honestly, if The Wire and Sopranos are any good. I know people SAY they're good, but are they actually?

Just noticed this. Let me assure you that The Wire kicks ass. The acting is top notch, it is funny, and not the slightest bit formulaic. You'll love it.

As for The Sopranos, I would say it's a sure thing if you're a fan of mob movies (Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino, etc.). I am, so I love it.

Switching gears, is anybody a fan of Nip/Tuck? It's one of my TV vices. It seems like they keep trying to see how much they can get away with.

Seen 10 minutes for a couple of episodes, as in *changes channel* *watches 10 minutes* "WTF is this?" *changes channel back*

The whole new seasons has been kicking ass. No more flash backs, just weird flash forwards

Supernatural, Smallville, Reaper and 24 are pretty much the only shows I watch on TV that are still ongoing.

When I get some time, I really want to catch up with Bones and Chuck.

Huge Alias fan here, seen each season at least 3 times each lol.
First two seasons where the best, season 3 was mixed and 4-5 a little better than the 3rd. I was glad they were able to finish off the series correctly even though if the where able to have the 3 more episodes they were promised it would have made for a less rushed ending.

Can anyone recommend some good action/sci-fi/serious tv-series besides all the Star Trek/Stargate. I tried Torchwood and Threshold but didn't like it. Surface and Firefly were great though and i've just recently finished with Burn Notice which was also good (Bruce Campbell :lol).

You might want to give Kyle XY a shot it's actually pretty good and very intriguing.

Also, if you haven't seen it (but seriously who hasn't?) The X-Files
is a great sci-fi show.

Finished the second disk of Scrubs s1 yesterday. I love how it pits all the annoying Zack Braffians and their 'omg what will I do with my life' whinings against the pure, dripping hateful sarcasm of Doc Cox and the Janitor. Perhaps the best American comedy series I've ever seen (and I've not seen many!)

Terminator(s...fucking eveywhere! And chatty...so very, very chatty!): The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Seriously, what fucking bastard gave the greenlight to this legacy-tarnishing pile of shit?

Word. I love it, it's crazy how they cancel almost all of the good shows.

"dirty sexy money" - i just saw the first episode and it seemed so-so. the main character/actor wasn't likeable at all and the whole thing seemed kind of boring.

I honestly found no enjoyment from that show. For once, I'm with Germaine Greer on something.

Californication at first bored me but turned into a real exciting show! David Duchovny is actually a great actor!
