I'm really looking forward to the new material. I loved The Devil Cried and if that track is indicative of what lies ahead, then I'm ready for the new Black Sabbath with Ronnie James at the helm!!

Fuck Sharon yes, but Ozzy is still the original and the best (as much as I love Dio) Dont forget that without ozzy there would be no sabbath for Dio to join. Sharon may have tried to destroy him, but the man himself is still a legend

I'm sorry but the minute Ozzy gets complacent and simply allows his wife to make him look like an ass and ruin his legacy makes Ozzy just as guilty. He shouldn't get a free pass because he is Ozzy. Sorry, he is just as responsible for her actions as she is.

Wendy Dio is Dio's manager and you would never see the kinda bullshit Sharon and Ozzy have done with Wendy and Ronnie. Imagine if "Sacred Heart" has out of print forever and Holy Diver and The Last In Line were re-recorded... seriously. No One would tolerate that and everyone would blame Dio for allowing it to happen. Ozzy gets a pass for nostalgic reasons and I don't think that is fair. Lets not forget how much Ozzy has sucked in the last 10 years, which is his own fault.

Stop acting like Ozzy is a retarded child who is not responsible for his career.

Furthermore, Ozzy is responsible for almost nothing Sabbath out. He didn't bring a single thing to the table that anyone else couldn't have done. That is basically true of his solo albums as well. He wrote very little material for those guys, but in the end him screwing it all up his fault.

Yeah whatever dude, Ozzy is an asshole sharon is a bitch etc, but the first six Black Sabbath albums are fucking excellent and Ozzy kicked ass on them, he may havent been the creative force behind Sabbath but he is a fucking legend! and he may not be the best singer in metal but his voice is very distinctive, original and it was highly influential for a lot of metal singers, everything else you could say about him it doesnt matter but the truth is that early Black sabbath kicked ass and part of that was because of Ozzy.

Yes, the Osbournes have basically made the Ozzy version of Sabbath a fucking gimmick to sell more Ozzfest tickets. Yes, Ozzy's vocals, especially live, are a mere shell of what they used to be. But that doesn't change the fact that all of the Ozzy-era BS albums from inception up to and including Sabotage are fucking classics. To imply that he just filled a spot and played no part in the creation of those albums smacks of ignorance on the subject. Where are you getting that sentiment?

Oh, and Sharon is a money-grubbing attention-whore. I remember a few years ago I went with some friends to see the Ozzfest Maiden played at. We walked over to the entrance of the t-shirt/schwag booth campus where all the kiddies were gobbling up $35 t-shirts. One of my friends stopped us and said, "Shh, if you guys listen real close you can hear the sound of Sharon's pussy sucking every cent out of the pockets of these poor little bastards." That's probably the best description I've heard to date.

I don't really care what you say about Sharon, I could care less about her. But, to echo several other posts since yours, Ozzy is probably one of the top five most legendary vanguards in heavy metal history. And always will be. I also don't give a crap what he wrote or didn't. His contributions - via his unique voice, legendary antics, and presence alone - places him in the most elite of company.

Much like Rob Halford. Speaking of which, I'm seeing a pattern here - with your apparent lack of respect for the greatest presences in metal.

I'm just glad you're not in charge of the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductions, nor are you the majority opinion! (No offense intended.)

So, uh, how 'bout that new Black Sabbath album guys?

Maybe we should just talk about the news and not drag up the same old "X vs X" again.

Personally I hope for more songs like The Ear in the Wall than Shadow on the Wind.
