In an impulse buy, I just ordered the entire Kayo Dot discography. What does everyone think of them?

Maudlin of the Well was more interesting. I wish they would have stuck with that.

I love Arcade Fire and Neon Bible is not too short of a master piece IMO.

I just bought Protest The Hero's new album "Fortress", it reminds me Symphony X and Dream Theater to some degree. It's pretty much progressive metal with some metalcore stuff.
take a look at their new single : http://youtube.com/watch?v=-_rHJn4SLtA

Been after it for ages. Amazon left it out of my last order, had to get them to send another one, which, kudos to them, they did very quickly indeed.

That song is so addictive it has been on my favorite song play list ever since the album cam out last February.

Intervention is also another great one, the organ makes the song so much more powerful and emotional. The songs "The Well and The lighthouse" reminds me of the Pixies and Keep the Car running reminds me of Bruce Springsteen. It's varied in influences and uses lots of instrumentations, definitely worth the purchase for any music lover.

Am I turning into an indie kid? I've taken to wearing stripy jumpers as well.
