Hmmm... are they Death or Grind though? Cos if they're the former then I shouldn't have put them in this thread.

To my ears they seem to inhabit a realm somewhere in between the two.

Deathgrind.

Grindcore is an extreme form of hardcore punk, and it's characterized (in addition to the music) by punk lyrics. Deathgrind is the same style musically, but with death metal lyrics.

Bands like Carcass, Terrorizer and Repulsion are deathgrind.

They haven't been mentioned because they're not grind, not even close. Just brutal death metal with a lot of technicality and too many breakdowns.

Swarrrm. OMG this shit blew me away, japanese grindcore (probably the most insane vocalist i have ever heard with Discordance Axis's) it has an epic feel to it and lots of melody. Try it guys!
http://www.myspace.com/swarrrmofficial

Check out the full album Against Again, trust me you won't be disappointed.

For crazy Japanese vocalists, check out Naked City 'Torture Garden'. I'd naively label it as grindcore with a saxophone.
