They have released three songs now. what do you think of them.I think they have potential, but jamie jasta has got to have one the most annoying voices ever.

I have enough respect for the Crowbar to give this a good chance. Plus, Jasta was good on The Code Is Red... even if Hatebreed is one of the more simplistic 'core crews around.

I liked the Myspace samples, anyways.

Pffft! Jasta is so one-dimensional its nauseating. I actually liked Hatebreed when they first came out, but then they kept putting out albums full of the same identical song. As a hardcore fan, I just can't understand their mass appeal. There's nothing interesting going on. But Jasta is really the problem with Hatebreed. If he was capable of doing interesting vocals they'd be much better. It's not like hardcore music has ever been very dynamic to cover that up.

I will say, though, the music is excellent and makes a huge difference on this Kingdom or Sorrow stuff. The music is dynamic enough to cancel out his limited vocal ability. He comes off as a second rate Phil Anselmo. I may buy it if I can find it cheap.

I love the album art, though.

It sounds like a very poor attempt to sound like the latest DOWN cd.

I just got the cd and its a little dissapointing. I like some of the songs, but jamie jasta screws up some the songs that could have been excellent. The rest of the band rocks.
