I know that it storms pretty frequently around the equator, but...shit.

Yeah Tornado's are always fun. Being from Nebraska they run through here quite often, but they seem to miss the only large city here in the state of Omaha where I currently reside. Fortunately we've been lucky enough to have few touchdowns that do damage here, but many smaller towns throughout the state are destroyed on a yearly basis by those things.

It's a shame, really. I wish nothing but the best for those who lost family/friends, homes and other property. I've seen the devastation a tornado can cause.

Fuck, what a tragedy. My condolences to everyone out there who's lost family, property, and both.

I live pretty close to the metropolitan area of my city, and for some reason, all of the bad weather (snow, tornados) skirts around us. I think it has something to do with the fact that the city is in a big basin.

Still, some friends at uni had been affected.

It's quite a tragedy. Tornados are pretty nasty from what I see on the news and documentaries. I really have high respect for those people who risked themselves by living in such areas.

That's why we Malaysians are so lucky. Safest country, ever . No quakes, no typhoons, tornados or shit. Even when the tsunami hit, Indonesia took the hit before it reached us.
