He left because of music differences... he wanted bloodbath to start distancing itself from the brutal sound to something more accessible. Must be the yellowcard he's been listening to.

anyway, for me, this is probably the best piece of news i've heard all year.

Hmm, I thought I read something earlier by Dan refuting those claims, but I might be insane. Why do people keep kicking Dan Swano out of their bands?

Either way, though, this is cool news. Mikael is a great vocalist.

Yeah I heard him say they just kind of arbitrarily kicked him out...

Eh, that stuff about Swanö isn't true. He actually wanted to do
even more brutal stuff. He was surprised when he heard that
he got "kicked". Dunno why they did it though.

this is great new. Mikeal is way better than tagtgren in my opinion even though both bloodbath albums are badass.

Terrible news... I really hated Bloodbath until Peter joined up. Also no Swano is kinda lame.

Good news for all the Akerfeldt fans though. I'll probably check it out regardless.

I didn't hate them but I think Peter worked as a better vocalist for the style then Mikael did.

I'm going to believe that, since I know you know Swano personally. I wonder what happened between them, especially since Dan and the Katatonia guys are long time friends, I think.

Anyway, let's hope it will be as good as their first two, although I fear that the lack of Swano's input might affect their compositions.

I don't think there is any bad blood in between them, and just to
clarify, I'm not a close friend of Mr.Swanö or anything, :P

I'm a bit in doubt too, I enjoyed Mikael's vocals over Peter's, but
without Swanö it might not get the same groove as the previous
ones. Just as an example, Eaten is a Swanö song, ;)
