We have every season. We love watching all the Thanksgiving episodes when we decorate for Christmas during Thanksgiving weekend. There's nothing like listening to Chandler bitch about his gay father and watching the Gellar cup episode.

Hence the fact that one of the lines in that episode is my sig. :)

I never watch all these drama shows or what-have-you... too fucking long and not funny enough. Comedies are what I like to watch but there's not really anything on at the moment that I am aware of. Currently I am just worshipping at the altar of Peep Show in DVD form. Although I am very excitedly anticipating season 6 of Curb Your Enthusiasm coming to the UK on DVD soon. At least I hope it will be soon :omfg:

Also, animals of farthing wood fans may like to remember that crazy bird in the first season who graphically skewered a load of dead baby mice on a thorn bush for storage purposes.

Holy shit flashback

Also I seem to remember them going by a hunter's house and seeing a load of skinned animals hanging over a tree.

Started watching Carnivale a few days ago and so far the show is seriously awesome. Very, very intense and unpredictable. It's a shame they cancelled it.

Started watching Father Ted late last night, and loving it.

"What do you say to a nice cup of tea, Father?"
"FECK OFF, CUP!"

Oh ya, baby. I love that show; it is remarkably intense, especially in the dream sequences. Keep in mind that season I has a pretty slow pace, and then the intensity is ratcheted up completely in season 2. It truly is a shame it was cancelled, especially with the cliffhanger ending of season 2...

I don't watch much tv. If at all I do, it is only while I am having my food and the moment my food is over, the tv is off. It's like this. I watch one channel, the moment ads start, I switch to the next channel, when ads start there, I switch to another channel and so on. So, I would've watched a few minutes of every channel once I am done with my food. The amount of ads they show on tv is just down right disgusting. The only thing I watch from the beginning to the end is WWE. Hope they don't ban that . It's impossible for me to sit thru a movie, show or watever where dialogues/words are censored, and after every 10 minutes you get an ad break of about 7-8 minutes. Imagine, words like "rape" which isn't vulgar at all are cut. Movies meant for adults have scenes cut and are made into 15 years and above. Yeah, it happens where I am. Time is not far when they will stop telecasting Tom and Jerry due to "excessive violence."

Can anyone recommend some good action/sci-fi/serious tv-series besides all the Star Trek/Stargate. I tried Torchwood and Threshold but didn't like it. Surface and Firefly were great though and i've just recently finished with Burn Notice which was also good (Bruce Campbell :lol).

Have you seen Battlestar Galactica? It's one of the best shows that are still running in my opinion. It hasn't got any aliens in it, only the man made Cylons. I personally hate most shows that have aliens in them. The show isn't all about action though, it's very political and the characters are very important, but when the action happens it's really intense.

I hear lots of praise for that, must get it.

Anyone into The 4400? Is it any good?

Yeah, i've watched most of the first season. I remember it was very good - story, characters, effects etc. Didn't like some subplots like the traitorous doctor and his cylon bitch. Thanks for reminding me about it, i'll try the other seasons.

What? I think his story is the most significant part of the show, I don't want to spoil anything, but he's really the most interesting character.
