Dream Theater - Images & Words

It took me long enough to get this one. Ive only ever been able to get it for 26.99 ala HMV's wonderful prices. Well it's down to 16.99 there and I found it for 12 bucks, so I win.

Hey Silent, do you have When Dream And Day Unite? I got a copy coming to me through SwapaCD.com. I got it to trade, so if you're interested, let me know. I can't vouche for the condition yet, though.

Anyway, SwapaCD, I think, is going to be this year's lala.com for me. I've already gotten 70 things (CDs and vinyl) in the mail since the first of the year. Haha. Here's the latest:

Monster Magnet - Negasonic Teenage Warhead (12" Shaped Picture Disc) (6821/10,000)
Morissette, Alanis - Feast On Scraps (CD/DVD) ***
Rocket Scientists - Oblivion Days (w/Bonus Tracks)
Scorpions - Wind Of Change (CD Single w/Live Track) *
Sentenced - Love & Death (EP)
The Hatters - The Madcap Adventures Of The Avacado Overlord
The Hatters - You Will Be You
Various Artists - Hellcat Records: Presents…Give 'Em The Boot IV **
Various Artists - Hellcat Records: Presents…Give 'Em The Boot V **
Various Artists - Return Of The Mountain King: A Tribute To Savatage *
Willard - Steel Mill **

* $1.75 from lala.com.
** Under $2 from SwapaCD.com.

I do not own that one yet. If its in good condition I would be willing to trade something (Im pretty picky, I need booklets and back inserts). Im not sure if I have anything you would want however as the only other album you picked last time was Katatonia and thats one of the bands Im trying to get a complete discography of.

But yeah, Ive gotten some new albums since last time, feel free to have a look again and I'll decide if I'm willing to trade.

Like I said, I bought Priest in the East-best live album ever? Dunno about that. That said, Exciter pulls if exactly what I want to hear-the band sounds awesome and the crowd in the background adds to the whole thing. Kinda the same with Hell Bent; without the crowd.

It does have the 140% speed version of Breaking the Law (mit guitar solo!) and lets you hear the Turbo-era tracks without the silly synth sound.

Yeah, it means poor.

Today:

Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage **
Monster Magnet - Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Double CD Single w/Non-LP Tracks)
Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight, The - The Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight *
Raunchy - Death Pop Romance **
Therapy? - Screamager (Promo CD Single)

* $1.75 from lala.com.
** Under $2 from SwapaCD.com.

I know someone who's gone digital and is in the process of selling his entire collection; he's doing it through eBay and expects to be done this Summer. He plans on getting over $200,000 for it all. Crazy!

Helloween - Keeper Of The Seven Keys I

The old version, the tracklisting on the back seems to be wrong.

For some reason the album of the version that you (and I) have has the song "Judas" sitting between "A Tale That Wasn't Right" and "Future World."

It's the last song recorded with Kai Hansen on vocals and was released as a single the year before.

I also use SwapaCD Ken, and it's worked out great for me so far! My girlfriend recommended it to me, and I've been using it constantly.

I've bought quite a few random CDS as of late:

(Ones with a * are ones I got off of swapacd!)

Megadeth - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?*
Led Zeppelin - Untitled (Remastered)* (for the gf)
Primordial - To the Nameless Dead
Sleep Bellum Sonno - Ascertain (went to go see their show, not super great but wanted to support the band)
Ungdomskulen - Cry-baby (another band I saw recently, very good medley of different genres!)
Megadeth - The System Has Failed
Deep Purple - Perpendicular*
Faith No More - Angel Dust*
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger*
Soundgarden - Superunknown*
Temple of the Dog - Temple of the Dog*

Martin, Charlotte - Rarities .4 (EP) (1 of 200)
Mclachlan, Sarah - Hold On (CD Single w/Non-LP Tracks) *
Monster Magnet - Heads Explode (CD Single w/Non-LP Tracks)
Monster Magnet - Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Double CD2 Single w/Non-LP Tracks)
R.E.M. - Automatic For The People
Screaming Jets, The - All For One
Tangier - Four Winds **

If anyone cares, The Bakerton Group is Clutch without the singer. All instrumental. Good stuff, just like Clutch, basically. Pretty cool getting #1 of that Charlotte Martin CD, too!

Oh, and fuck off, Raven.

I didn't realise they'd released anything, I just have the three tracks you can download from Clutch's website for free. Is that all that's there?
