No it's not the other way around. During the first world war Armenians (who used to have every single right that a Turkish citizen had in Ottoman) stabbed us in the back. They attacked and raided villages. Killed the farmer people who had no defence whatsoever. That includes the town next to my grandfathers. They gathered people in the centre of the town and forced them to dig a hole, them put them all in and burned them alive. My grandfather used to tell me that they could hear the screams from the other town. This happened for some time and then Ottoman government sent some troops over there and drove those treacherous Armenians out of our soil. Of course some of them were killed, it's a fucking war. There was no systematic killing at all. There is evidence that more Turks than Armenians were killed at the time. They are still bitching about it, living a fucking lie. It's been 90 years for fuck sake they should get over it. They are trying to take some compensation from Turkey because they are such a weak and poor little country, this seems their only chance to make their economy better. And I think I should stop here. Obviously no one is trying to see my point of view but I know I have every right to hate them. For they are using their music in a way that they shouldn't. (burning Turkish national flags at a concert for example, my friend has seen it happen)

Well, I am mainly referring to culture as opposed to soil... I'll bet 2/3 of the flag-wavers in my country are dismally unaware of the true history behind America, or why they ae even displaying them.
I was raised to be proud of my heritage and culture (Irish/Scottish)and their pagan roots. We all know the history of the Church and the... means... by which they "enlightened" the pagans.
I have no problem with racial.cultural pride as long as it does not
infringe upon my own right to that same pride.
Funny thing, in America, if you are a white male expressing these traits, you are usually, deemed a racist, though curiously that same standard does not apply to blacks, Jews, Asians etc.
Actually some of the most RACIST people I have encountered are non-whites, quite often directed at myself...but that is almost always overlooked.
Where's the fairness here?

I actually like SoAD's MUSIC, probably the best nu-metal band out there, but if that Kathaarian said about the burning of a turkish flag is true then I understand why he hates them! That's such a fucking lame and pathetic way to express hate and nothing a serious band should do!

And I just have to add a word abput the nationalist - nazi thing. I live in probably the most anti-nationalistic country in the whole damn world. With that I mean that you are a suspected nazi as soon as you show any sign of national pride. A thing that is made even more sick when the UN states that Sweden is one of the best countries in the world to live in...
And history don't mean shit when talking about national pride as far as I'm concerned. In my school there's a lot of immigrants that came here from Iraq because of Saddam and they have national pride even though theur country has such a dark history. In the end, national pride is about love and nazism is about hate, it's two damn different things that should be more separated than they are..

If I am not mistaken, what Kathaarian is saying is that he wants the Church out of his country, and will defend his country from any invaders. When invaders come in and take over, your culture becomes history, as we all know.
And the church has a hustory of "colonizing. I agree one hundred percent with Kathaarian here; if an invading force were to attempt to replace my culture and way of life, I would fight as well, that is honorable.
It is unnatural to allow yourself to be subjected and dominated.
