Maybe not Gigantour, but Megadeth is coming to India on March 14th. Going to see them. Woooohoooo ! :dio:

And Maiden before that!!! You Indians have been getting lucky lately. How was Sepultura? Or was it Soulfly?

Deth played in Singapore last year a day before Heaven n Hell. I was unlucky not to watch it. I heard Deth's performance was pretty lame ass. HnH put up an amazing show, though.

The Sep show was amazing. Better than Maiden's, not in terms of performance, but since there was a smaller crowd, there was more space. Don't believe people who say they suck live now. Their live show was awesome and Derrick is very good.

You got a point, but I would never pass on an In Flames show. They're fantastic live, even though their last few albums kinda suck.

I don't know about that. When I went and saw them a couple years ago, they played mostly stuff from Soundtrack to Your Escape, which is a shitty album by all accounts. I kept waiting for them to play some Jester Race, Whoracle, or Colony stuff. No dice, as the only time they went outside of STYE was to play a few songs off Reroute to Remain and one song off Clayman. A big fucking disappointment of a show if you ask me.

I'd go if I could get tickets for really cheap so I could see High on Fire. Otherwise, I'll pass.

Agreed. When I saw them, the setlist was shit and the performances uninspired. I threw up the horns for Behind Space and some Colony stuff, but even those weren't played particularly well or energetically. Probably one of the most dissapointing shows I've yet to see.

And I still need to see Megadeth- looks like it won't be this year. I'm still kicking my ass for not seeing them before they resurged in popularity, when they were playing in a smaller venue with Exodus. Idiot me.
