Call of Duty 4. So cool. Made it to First Lieutenant in multiplayer.

What level is that? (numbre wise)

I got that two. Its so good! I was a bit dissapointed with the single player, did it in a couple of hours, but the online play is amazing! I been playing for a bout 3 1/2 hours now online an got to level 8. I'm quite happy with that coz i normally get my arsed kicked badly playing fps's online. I've even won a game :omfg:

One thing that annoyed me a little was when the SAS guy said depot like a yank. After that you just know its an american putting a bit of a silly 'cockney' accent. But it doesn't make a difference, still an amazing game!

Silly question but: How do I connect my 360 to the internet?

You can hook it up to your modem directly using one of those cords that looks kind of like a phone input thing, or if you have WiFi you can get a WiFi enabler but it's like $90.

ALSO

So yeah I played Bioshock and that game is fucking scary. Very dark atmosphere and zombie things running all over the place, little girls poking syringes into dead bodies...yeah. But it's really awesome. Also started Mass Effect, and now I'm addicted to it so now Bioshock and other games will have to wait. Mass Effect is fucking awesome...srsly. The RPG element isn't too complex, which is good for me because Final Fantasy and the like can sometimes become tedious for me.

you need an RJ45 network cable, same type usually used with a computer. I f you already have a router just plug the cable in it to your xbox.

CoD 4 - Awesome. I finished it twice in 2 days. A bit short though.

Football Manager 2008 - Perfect as always. I can't stop playing it.

PES 2008 - Quite disappointing actually. Other than the improved graphics I don't like it that much. And the graphics aren't that good too. The shitty graphics of the old games were much more alive.

I have a wireless modem for my X-Box 360 (Microsoft's official wireless modem, actually). And, unfortunately, I get A LOT of lag when playing games over X-Box Live. In fact, Doom on XBLA often cuts to the title screen after playing it on XBLA for how long because of all the lagging. I don't get this kind of lag when I'm downloading or surfing the X-Box Live Marketplace. After playing my 360 a certain number of times, the modem also tends to come somewhat loose. And I have to take it out and reinsert it for it to function again.

Does everybody have this problem, or is it simply a problem with my wireless modem?

When I was getting my 360 hooked up for X-Box Live, the guy at FutureShop told me that hooking your 360 up for wireless interenet is a bad idea because it will be really slow. So I bought an 80 foot chord and I have little lag problems.

Where can I buy one of these cables?

You should be able to buy cables like this at any home electronics store. Luckily for me I have one right around the corner from my house. Just go to any store into the electronic section and ask somebody, they should help you. Once your online give me your gamertag, we'll play some Halo 3. and ill win

i downloaded the CoD4 demo and it rules. there were two times when my cmputer completely froze for a few seconds, but otherwise it handled the game with no problems. if so, it should be able to handle the full game as well, right?

also, it's the first time since Mario 64 that i've played a "cutting edge" game while it's still fresh. i missed this feeling.

COD4 isn't so fresh anymore, it's been out for a good little while. But I know what you mean, I got the game on it's second day on shelves.

Assassin's Creed

About 8 hours in and I've only done 2 kills. A friend of mine told me the game can be beat in 8 hours. Maybe if you just run through the game without enjoying anything. I'm thinking it may take me about 20-30 hours once I beat the story and try to find everything.

The Lost Vikings for my SNES as well :dio:

I've heard some things too, but nothing has happened in the 8 hours I've played it. Its flawless and amazing, like my penis.

I lost interest in the game pretty quickly. It's a beautiful game, and generally a step forward in gaming, but it's boring as hell. I think I had killed two of the primary targets in the game before I got tired of the exact same fights over and over and over again.

I remember earlier i said AC was amazing. Well i take that back, it was far to easy to do, i did it in about 9 hours i think, plus the end is by far the worst ending to anything ever. I heard that they're cashing in by doing a trilolgy. Not a chance of me buying any of the other if thats true. I mean i actually couldn't believe it when the credits came up, i took it back a day and a half after i bought it and swaped it for resistance fall of man, a much much better game!

Ha ha! I just found out that Cockney fuckwit Johnathan "Wossy" Ross has a cameo role in Halo3! I'm sure that means nothing to those outside the UK, however.
