Post subject: Radiohead In Rainbows bonus tracks

The special collector box Radiohead released only as a mail-order item is over-expensive and none of the songs will be available anywhere else. Would you say it's okay to download it for free then?

And, oh, In Rainbows is a good (maybe even great but I still have to give it a little more time to see if it lasts) album!

Considering they made the main album available for nothing if you wanted, then no, not at all.

Is it okay if you buy the cd then?
The download-version was only 160 kbps, not what I'd call top quality...

Is that why a AES (Audio Engineering Society) panel held a conference and astudy to conclude that NONE of it's members could tell a damn bit of difference between a CD and an MP3 ripped at 160kbps?

Any differnces you notice are al in your mind, the power of suggestion.

I think 192 kbps is CD quality.

And as for In Rainbows, I plan to pick it up in January. This month, I'm buying either Blur's self-titled album or Gambling With The Devil. I may go with the Blur album just to have something a little different in my music collection.

I love them!! They really fill out the album because the first disc is pretty short so by the time "Videotape" ends I usually want more.

Indeed... I even think I prefer the bonus tracks to the rest of the album...
