Seriously, though, you called me out as soon as I came back, so I can't help but bust your balls, but your comment was retarded and you know it. You claim to like Helloween, right? If you suggest they're not Christian, or don't have a ton of Christian themes running through their songs, you're most definitely retarded.

I wasn't attempting for that post to be humorous. Sorry if you thought differently.

I did not suggest that Helloween was not Christian. However, I never gave it the thought at all. Honestly, the only album I've actually bothered listening to was Gambling With The Devil (which hasn't struck me as Christian in the least bit). Perhaps I should listen harder? Read the Bible while playing Can Do It?

Helloween is not a "Christian Band." They just have some Christian bandmembers (Micheal Waiketh and Andi Deris, specifically) and some Christian-themed songs. They also have some songs that aren't directly "Christian" but take subtly Christian stances on certain issues (for example, A Game We Shouldn't Play from Better Than Raw takes a Christian stance against the cloning experiments that were going on in the late-90's).

They do seem to have cut back a bit on the Christian-themed songs on their last three albums, although their Christian beliefs still creep into some songs (despite not being all-out Christian songs).

Thanks for the clarification.

Who cares as long as the music's good ! As far as I'm concerned they could be praising Bin Laden if they made an album as good as Dark Ride !

Fortunately, the computer I'm using right now had the soundcard taken out.

Actually, I've never really listened to Stryper before. Nor do I intend to since I generally hate glam metal. Plus, I'm not so sure throwing bibles into your audience is a smart way of getting your message across.

Hey, I wasn't complaining! I was just answering The Octavarius's question about whether they were a "Christian band."

Slipknot isn't metalcore.

Ryan Clark, Demon Hunter frontman, has a very Corey Talor like- voice.

Living Sacrifice and Extol are good. Immortal Souls is pretty decent. Haven't heard the others.

Lengsel is an excellent Black Metal band, though. Solace is a great fucking album. I'm not sure if I want to call them Christan, 'cuz their lyrics aren't Jesus, but they do have one or two members from Extol. I encourage y'all to give them a try. :dio:

Haven't heard their new album, though, so I can't comment on that one.
