I'd be curious to hear what you can do with either a microphone, a guitar, a bass guitar, a drumkit or a keyboard.. Will all the criticism you spread on this forum you must be very good... or a very stupid 13 years old trying to have a life pretending to be the metal übermensch...

Ho, and Manowar were good but lost it after Louder than Hell, imho...

Finally! My chance to win a custom-built Manowar chopper!

But seriously, where would you put it?

On another note, $117 ain't too bad for a festival over here. Here it's about £120 a ticket for a big weekend festival.

The price of the concert is not horrible. Since "we" care a hell of a lot more about metal bands than the rolling stones's and madonna's of the world who charge at least 200 bucks to see thier shows, we are simply getting lucky that metal hasn't decided the fans will pay whatever it takes for shows.

...I tried to get into Manowar on the "warriors of the world" releasebut it was just awful.

I watched a video of them and it was the worst band i've ever seen (what was with that gay ass bass solo)

edit: also, manowar ruin other concerts at festivals with thier loudness. It's been reported that they are not enjoyable t watch because it is quite painful.

However with 33db earplugs it should knock thier sound down to 107 db - horribly damaging, but not as bad as it was.

on the topic of earplugs, I can't reccomend them enough. The sound will be a huge improvement and you will protect your ears and enjoy music for the rest of your life in better quality in the process.

USD 117 is a bit stiff in my opinion considering the fact it's over four days, with them playin all their albums out, I guess it's a bargain.

Sounds fair enough to me. Bet it doesn't cost that much to make the t-shirts, though.

well... I like their first 2 albums, but thing that irritates me is that their
all lyrics are about a same thing, like a 10 year old kid... (we have power, we are so strong, kill the posers, only our metal is true... etc.)

So I guess that price doesn't include a hotdog, beer and a Manowar lion cloth to boot?

If I have to pay $117 to see oiled hairy chested men in leather, I'll get a bus ticket to San Francisco.

That isnt that bad of a price for all of those bands playing. And while Manowar's last few albums certainly have dropped off in quality from their earlier ones, Manowar, who I have seen live 3 times, ranks high on the short list of best live shows I have seen. And they are loud but its not painful to listen to. My God, your a metal fan complaining about loudness! Thats ridiculous. THey use good equipment and they have sounded clear and enjoyable everytime that I have seen them.

I'd go in a heart beat if I lived anywhere near it. Man Sweden Rock Festival costs like $300 US (though it is of much higher quality of course).
