Was bored today, decided to check this band out, all I could get at the moment was Mortal Sin from No Limit and I think its quite the good song, so I believe I will keep my eyes open for albums by this band.

I only have Return to Heaven Denied. It's brilliant.

I agree. Their best, and generally when it comes to the big wave of power metal in the lat 90s - they were one of the best bands.

If you like Labyrinth, you should check Moon Of Steel. Their album Passions (1989) sounds sometimes like a prototype of Labyrinth. Lots of Crimson Glory/Queensryche/Iron Maiden influences :)

Vision Divine is fucking amazing. I only have the first two with Michelle Luppi and he is definitely the best singer i've heard.I can't wait to hear some labyrinth. I have timeless crime, but that's not enough.

I love their RTHD album. Heaven Denied was the second metal song I heard (the first being Beyond The Black Hole).

Holy shit this is old, I've had Wyrd a long time now. I'd have to say it's Elvenking's worst album, well... not as bad as the Scythe.

As long as Olaf Thorsen is involed, it should be a masterpiece. So i would put off the S/T in favor of another one.

I have to say I like Fabio's vocals on No Limits. I absolutely hate him on the Rhapsody albums though. Perhaps it is because the music accompanying his voice on the Rhapsody albums is overblown theatrical crap. No Limits is now firmly cemented as my favorite Labyrinth album. The use of techno elements on the album is brilliant. They get an A+ on atmosphere. I edit my earlier remark about the album sounding like it was raining outside. Now I believe that the album sounds like I am inside of a crystal cave (Similar to Superman's lair), and it is raining crystals outside. Great album, and the techno bits elevate it beyond awesome power metal, to being something that is actually quite distinctive. Great band (at least they used to be).

I also came across a recording of Labyrinth performing the song "Derby" with the lead singer of Bulldozer in Tokyo. How's that for fucked up. Satanic drunken thrash metal, meets neoclassical power metal?!
