I've heard ppl complain more about the production than anything...
I think it fits the music quite well, makes a truly evil and dark atmosphere...
Gotta check out their other works too, only listened to their first album long time ago.

The problem with this is that it's too bloody long. You have it on and think "oh this bit's cool", and "this bit's also cool", and when it finishes you think "yeah, there were some good bits somewhere in the middle of all of that". It's not like it built up to a thrilling final climax or anything either. It kind of stays at one level all the way through.

Your description is pretty spot on I guess... I liked the last one better.
But the song Canadian Metal is kick ass.

I thought The Cult Is Alive had too many fillery songs. The new one sounds great from the 2 songs I've heard, definetly will be picking it up.
