If I lived in or around London, and the tickets were significantly cheaper, I would love to go.

Just in case anyone is wondering:

22,000 x $254 = $5,588,000

or

22,000 x £125 = £2,750,000

Holy shit.

Prices like that piss me off. I understand the laws of supply and demand, but out of principle, i believe being entertained for two hours is not worth $254 per person. For the same price a hooker can entertain you for two hours; and you can even watch Led Zepplin on DVD while being "entertained"... now thats comparative advantage. lol

p.s: same goes for Van Halen playing here in Montreal 175$ per ticket. unless i get in free.. i ain't going.

Been on a bit of a Led Zep binge recently, good timing I guess.

These guys need to quit the bullshitting and reunite for good. Same with Pink Floyd.

Time's a tickin'.

The prices are pretty stiff. Too stiff in fact. But they did mention that it was goin to a charity fund. If I was in London, earning in sterlings, I would definitely go cos I've never seen Led Zep live, except on DVD's. A big pinch, but it's worth the experience.

125 pounds = RM 862.50

Now I could actually buy my bass amp with that kind of money.

Why anyone would want to watch a bunch of old men perform on stage for an outrageously high price is beyond me (not sure about Floyd's ticket prices)...

I'd prefer if they all released some new material.

Ironically I removed I, II & IV off my MP3 player the day before this was announced! As much as I like LZ, I would never pay those prices to see them. Anyway, the music died for LZ after Bonham Snr did the literal.

Time has moved on, and unless you're a nostalgia junkie, it's better to watch the old recorded videos and listen to the albums rather than go to see three very old rockers stiffly knocking out the classics (anyone seen Heaven & Hell for reference?)

I do agree on the ticket prices being atrociously priced, and how a bunch of old hags still trying to rock out. But I think if you haven't seen them at all in your life, it's a worthy shot paying to see them.

I did hear news that Dio has lost his voice and so on, and they play Singapore this comin October. As usual, we Asians suffer the lash of stiff ticketing prices. It would cost me RM 400. But whatever it is, they're legends and I haven't seen them live before. Now, if not for my final examinations 2 days later, I would definitely head down to my neighbouring country to watch them. If I was in London, I'll go for Led Zep.

I think if I were going it would be more just for the fact of seeing led zeppelin live rather than actually expecting a good show.

As much as I love Led Zeppelin, I kind of see this whole reunion thing like a wake: you keep the casket closed if you want to remember someone how they were before they went downhill and keep it open if they are still in a presentable enough state to not leave a bad impression or make you sick. I still have to respect Zeppelin as one of the few bands who decided it was best to quit as Led Zep when their drummer unfortunately passed away.

Woah man here in Italy hookers cost 120 euros for 20min... Maybe here for 254$ you can find a transexual to entertain you...
Anyway 254$ is indeed way too much even for a godlike band like Led Zeppelin.
