Chaosphere's a right headfuck the first few listens, especially the last song. I still can't listen to that without skipping bits.

Must be talking about that loooooong-ass... whatever it is... in Elastic? I can easily listen to that all the way through. Of course, this is coming from a guy who can listen to 60 minute songs with no problem at all.

As for their best album, I would have to say Destroy, Erase, Improve.

Oh, I can listen to it, I like Merzbow, ffs. Just that it's boring when you know that there's the awesome bit afterwards when they layer three songs over each other.

Do they layer three songs? I heard they layered their whole discography on that one or something.

Oh I just push stop right when the repetitive noise starts (yeah, some would describe the whole album as that). The last nine and a half minutes I find completely unlistenable myself, but oh well.

That would be even more awesome, although I'm sure sure whether it is. Great idea if they ever do a best-of, just play all the songs at once!

Indeed, it would be awwweeeesome.

As for the layering on "Elastic"... well... I'm not exactly sure. It sure sounds like they did, but I highly doubt it was their whole discography.

I'm guessing layering their whole discography of 70+ songs would be indecipherable. Three is most likely correct.

I just listened to that rather loud and I now have a headache from its extreme awesomeness. :dio:

There is no way it's their whole discography. I think I read somehwere it is the first three songs on the album.

Never said it was. I meant that it _did_ sound like like three layered songs.

Or maybe they layered the whole album?

After much more listening to all their albums, I have decided my favourite is 'Destroy Erase Improve'. Can't beat 'Future Breed Machine' and 'Soul Burn' :dio:
