I'm not a big fan of the artwork but I am excited to hear about the new album. Not since Burning Bridges have they had a truly awesome album but Anthems and Doomsday Machine weren't bad.

This is looking like another political hatred fueled album for the year. Hopefully, the lyrics are more intelligent than United Abominations'.

Wages of sin in my opinion is better than the last two releases and Doomsday was better than Anthems.

Agreed, Anthems... is easily their worst release.

I've only heard 'We Will Rise' of Anthems..... and it kicks ass IMO.

with out a doubt that is the worst song on the album

Bluh? I think its a good commercial melodeath-type song, one of the few on the album that's actually memorable. My vote for the worst goes to Instinct - you know, the one that breaks into a Slipknot riff halweay through?

I don't remeber that one since a friend borrowed the album and never returned it three years ago, so maybe its worse, but that was just...blaaahh. Comercial melodeath is such a weird idea, I really dislike it. Not because i think comercial = bad, its just a terrible pairing in this case.

The only thing good from Anthems, that I recall is "Dead Eyes See No Future"

Anthems had a few stinkers but it also had some killer fast songs. Despicable Heroes and Silent Wars come to mind.

Wow, I didn't know there was so much hate for Anthems. It's a solid record, well produced and all with some awesome songs, even if there is some filler material.

actually i think that Wages of Sin is the overrated one. besides Ravenous and Enemy Within there are a few moments, but no really killer songs.

Disappointing. A few good bits, here and there, but otherwise very dull, although Angela seems to be varying the vocals a bit more than usual. Let's hope it's a grower...

I haven't heard anything pre-Gossow yet, but I agree Anthems was a solid record, and Wages of Sin and Doomsday Machine are almost equally good, with Wages being a bit better. Nemesis was actually the first death metal song I ever heard and it ripped my head off. Also the melodies were awesome.

As regards the new album, I really hate the artwork, but I'm digging the new song. Pretty cool album title too.

I really only liked Wages of Sin I didn't listen to their new album though but Anthems was a piece of shit if you ask me.
