If you got it for £1 in Fopp (God rest its beautiful soul) then you've done ok, but its a very average album.

£2.70 odd from eBay (inc. P&P!) actually, so not too bad then.

Vision Divine The 25th Hour - been listening to this for past week good cd . One thing I am finding more and more is most albums don't have much long term appeal it's like you have heard it all before.

Vintersorg - Solens Rotter. Its a brilliant album and im really suprised it hasnt been reviewed here yet (its been out since April). I think the band have taken a slightly different direction in this release. Has anyone heard it yet?

Solens Rotter is brilliant. I love the marriage of the early Folk Metal stuff and the Prog Metal he'd been toying with since Visions From the Spiral Generator. I was blown away by it, his voice is magnificent as ever, and the riffing had some really odd structures that were just plain awesome. I was sort of dissapointed by the use of the Drum Machine, I'm a huge Aseiger Mickleson fan, but it doesn't really hurt the album. It's probably my album of the year, and it does need a review here.

Megadeth - Youthanasia

My first Deth album, which according to the guy at the cd store is a really good place to start.

I agree with what you said about the use of the drum machine, it was the only weak point of the whole album IMO. I feel Vintersorg has been growing with each album. As for album of the year I guess its too early for me to decide (especially with Wintersun's album coming late this year).

This definitely needs a review. Anyway I hope the reviewers take notice and make our wish come true :dio:

How are you liking the Dr. Butcher and Chris Caffery CD's? I'm a big fan of anything that Chris is a part of. I love both of those CD's. :dio:
