Why thank you.

I never managed to get around to it until now, always something that ended up getting in the way. I have no excuse now :P

Of course we clean and cook for ourselves, right after we get home from work. How else do we afford our own domiciles and food, which we need not rely on a layabout man to pay for? I'm glad you agree that men are superfluous creatures.

:lame: don't be silly, woman. Men are not superflous creatures.. without us telling you to cook and clean you wouldn't get the job done in the first place

Ridiculous. Lesbians keep a very clean house - obviously, once again, men are superfluous.

Thats only because butchlesbins wish they were men so they lay on the couch drinking beer telling the bitch what to do.

Explain how femme-femme couples keep their spaces so clean, then.

I counter with a question for you:
explain how easter bunny and santa clause keep their house clean?

Non-sequiter. Those are imaginary figures, while there are plenty of femme-femme (and butch-butch, soft butch-stone butch, etc.) lesbian couples. Trust me, I have a degree in this.

Men who can clean and cook > Gold > Poop > Men who can't do those things without a good reason.

I believe that overly macho men secretly yank their junk to lemonparty and secretly borrow the stilettos of the unfortunate women who fall for them.

i can clean and do basic cooking, but when i did that last year on a holiday with my classmates i think it gave me a "gay friend"-ish thing with the girls in my class that i still haven't shaken off.

I can cook. There's a huge difference between cooking in the basic sense and making something a person would actually want to eat. I always find a way to fuck it up.

I can cook but I don't know how to make very many things and I suck at improvising.

I love that this post bought about a flurry of 'oh, I can cook' posts. :)

And yeah, I'm a mean hand at the hoover. And I can cook (following a recipe, that is).

yay!

I was chosen for an "all-star" softball team to play against another town on the 20th. I'm super stoked. Only 12 girls got chosen out of the 70 who play. :)

Yes. Yes, I do. Every Mount Holyoke degree, regardless of what it says on your parchment, includes a second (or third, in some cases) major in women's and gender studies, and a second minor in dyke drama.

Satisfied. I stuffed myself with sushi and cheesecake 'cuz it was my brother's birthday.

And I picked up the bass after quite a lengthy hiatus. My fingers hurt, but I feel good.

EDIT: And I'll probably be gutted alive for this, but I'm seriously considering ranking Slipknot's self-titled among my favorite albums of all time.
