I don't really like the idea of Universal buying over Sanctuary. Sanctuary is a figure in rock and metal, and by being bailed by Universal, they'll just go downhill.

It was to be expected. There's been some nasty rumours floating around about Sanctuary Records and non-payment of talent. I've also noticed more and more bands jumping ship to other labels, so I guess there might be some truth to the rumours. Regardless of what the label turns into, if it's not just consolidated, at least now the artists have a chance to get paid what is owed them.
