Me neither. I don't want phone calls when i'm at home, why the hell would I want calls when i'm out?

how long have you had it? mine's been giving me trouble since february/march. it skipped songs or went on to the next one halfway through, so i restored it back to factory settings, but everytime i try to put my songs in it again it freezes. i've restored it some 10 times now. it's almost 3 years old btw.

'tis indeed. My boyfriend has only called me thrice in our year relationship. He only calls when internet is inaccessible and when he's out of town.

i love mp3players but i find Ipod amongst the worst. And cellphones, meh..i use mine frequently often now that i'm in my exam period and i can't really socialize in the normal way. However, people who pick up their cellphone in let's say a bar and go: "HIIII, YEAH I'M JUST DRINKING A BEER! WHAT ARE YOU DOING???..." should be nudered and exterminated.

I think cell phones are extremely useful, but they can get really annoying when people use them for frivolous purposes that happen to be within hearing range. I thought my cell phone kicked a bunch of ass when I got in a car wreck last year.

well 6 months are very optimistic it seems. My brother is a doctor in the hospital where my mother is and in the last week it all want even further downhill. He says it's always hard to predict but more than two weeks seem impossible. fuck this shit.

It just broke, and stopped showing me my songs. Basically it was telling me I didn't have any music on, despite 60 gbs of space being occupied. So I reformatted it, but it's still junk.
As for cell phones, I have a migros budget phone, which you americans won't recognize. But tis the truest phone in switzerland.

I don't understand why you guys hate cell phones...I'm not obsessed with mine but it's really convenient.

As for MP3 players, I've had 4 or 5 and so far the iPod is the only one that's lasted more than a year, mostly because of how easily it syncs with iTunes. Everything else is just ridiculously hard to use in comparison to iPods.

Agreed, on my old mp3 player I'd build up like 6-10 albums that I hadn't put onto it yet just because of how much of a chore it was to do.

I sitll have 2 mp3 players that are perfectly fine, I just don't use them because I have my iPod. And I also don't have any problems getting music on them.

My Ipod has only had one major fuck-up. First of all any Cathedral song I played would cause the Ipod to freeze. I tried to take them off and put them back on, but when I tried to delete them the PC froze, and did so every time. So I just had to go without Cathedral until I could figure out what was wrong. Then all the album art switched around so I had all these albums with the wrong artwork, which was weird. Then all songs would cause the Ipod to freeze. Tried to restore factory settings, but that didn't change anything. So I sent it away to be repaired and I got it back a week later saying that there was nothing wrong with it. Now it works completely fine. Weird.

Did you get a sad iPod icon? B/c that is what happened with mine and I got a new iPod from Apple.

Today is a good day. Its my birthday, i am going to South Beach Miami with a bunch of my friends today, and before I go I am dropping my truck off to get a sick sound system installed to be ready upon my return from vacation.
I was feeling a little sick since yesterday but I figure I will just drink through it.

Pretty contented. I was back at the recording studio today laying down my velvet baritone on some French lesson cds (no, I don't speak French, I did the English bits). It's pretty cool standing in the type of booth you always see your favourite metal singer on the dvd wailing in. And it is very hard to avoid the temptation to wail.

Only two more days of prac, then one exam. After that I am going to gorge myself on Mexican food and then get so drunk that I wet my pants.

I also had to turn down an offer to go to the Powderfinger album launch and after party. I have to work that night and my electricity bill is accumulating debt at a frightening pace.

Nope, didn't even get that. It was stupid, but at least it works now.
