How does it compare with their other albums? I have been on the fence about buying it.

It's good. Not the best, but each song sounds like they are building up to something that never happens.

I like it too. Very little wrong that I can see, so what if they didn't make it stupidly fast?

Got my hands on a copy of the new Angelcorpse. Am headbanging.

I never really understood all the fuss about Araya's old voice vs. his new. Sure, he may sound younger and spit out lyrics with more clarity in Slayer's clasic period, but he never, ever really "sang". He's always had that monotone yell, save for some of the slower songs found on "Seasons in the Abyss".The lyrics are not the best the band ever wrote, but he sounds pissed as a kidney stone on GHUA.

I think he got it on vinyl.

Has anyone heard the anti-urban EP?

Whoops. I would still like to know where he got it, vinyl seems like it would be an even rarer find.

Whoa, had heard all the tracks except the last one before, and that took my head off.

Also got the promo of this rather cool local band called Allerjen.

This is my third Immolation CD, but I'm a bit ashamed that I have yet to give any of them a really worthwhile listen. With all the praise they get I think I have some catching up to do.

What happens to be your favorite death metal CD?
