Might be just as well since SOAD hit a bit of a slump with Mesmorize. I still have yet to hear Hypnotize.

Both of those albums are fucking brilliant! Considering they released two in one year it doesn't surprise me in the least that they are in no rush to get some new stuff out.

Yeah, there's always been a three year gap between their albums, except Toxicity and Steal This Album. So, we might see new material from them near the end of 2008 or early 2009.

I'm curious about Serg's solo stuff. Will it be rubbish, or will it be like the early days of SOAD, remarkably repetitive Hardcore Punk with a Nu Metal feel to it? Ah, back to the Korn I fear...

I like some of their stuff from Toxicity, but Mezmerize was simply the most annoying metal I've ever heard and I never bothered to check out Hypnotize.

bit of a silly thing to say, isn't it, ken? we're all entitled to our opinions here. 'talking shit' is relative here: while I'm sure anyone who said anything negative about SOAD could write a nice long informative post on exactly why they dislike the band so much, but sometimes a one-off line such as the ones used in this thread is far simpler and more effective.

I don't see why you need to take other people's opinions so seriously.
