I liked them best on Grom too. Seriously, if you don't agree that Demi-god sounds like Nile, what the hell... Nearly an exact copy.
What the hell is right... And I guess Dragonforce sounds like Helloween and Finntroll sounds like Trollfest and Old Mans Child sounds like Children of Bodom... Honestly, this is music you guys obviously do not listen to. Older Behemoth sounds like every other tr00 black metal band out there (this is an obvious overstatement, b/c I do like black metal... even the tr00est of tr00, but it isn't something I listen to a lot). After a while, if you don’t listen to a certain genre of music it all sounds the same. Jazz all sounds the same Misha, except for some of the bands you showed. Holy crap some of that stuff is weird, Archie Shepp

. Anyway, my point is if you listen to black metal more than any other genre, one death metal band will most likely sound like the rest of them. Same goes for power metal.
And another thing. We have a similar discussion going in the prog/power forum about Nocturnal Rites. They were a completely different band before they made a line up change in the late 90's. But most people (except Trooper

) prefer the older Rites. At the same time though, people have grown to love the latter. I don't know where I am going with this, but I guess... why can't you like both for what they are FTR?
What makes me an expert on death metal since I listen to mostly power metal? I don't know, I'm not. I just started typing random stuff and felt like posting... No actually, I have been listening to Nile and Behemoth a lot latley. Anyway, I'm waiting for my iPod to come in the mail... so now I'm just waisting time and my day... and it's so nice outside... but I have now iPod to go for a jog
