It's time to ask one of the ultimate questions: Does Motorhead Still Rock After Over 30 Years (and with Lemmy already 61 years old)?

My vote is a resounding "Yes!!!" Inferno is a great album. I listened to it just this morning, in fact. I like Kiss Of Death a lot too, even though I've only listened to it once so far on AOL Music.

Of course. The newer albums may not be the most innovative stuff out there, but they still sound like Motorhead. He's like AC/DC in that regard.

Absolutely. In fact, they rock harder than a most of their peers, some of whom could be Lemmy's grandkids (seriously, the guy has been around).

You mean the song Motorhead, by Hawkwind (in that case: yes). In the case of the band named after the song, no. Lemmy was kicked out of Hawkwind for a reason. And Hawkwind rocks more than ever before.

Of course they do, and +1 on Eternal Idol's reference about AC/DC.

I've never been a big Motörhead fan (except for some of the hits) but I can't deny they're still going strong. Lemmy really is God.

I think that kiss of death is better than inferno. Generaly i think inferno and kiss of death stand up to their classic albums (of course they aren't as innovative anymore) . Were those albums to have been recorded back when motorhead was starting, they would be just as classic.

lemmy will be 80, and singing about how he is goign to fuck your sister and mother and it will still be bad ass. :dio:

Wasn't it because he was a drug addict?

Everyone in Hawkwind was a drug addict. The other guys were doing tons of acid, Lemmy was more into speed.

Absolutement, a metalhead who doesn't at least like Motorhead is a rare species indeed.

Yeah, cuz he was way too harsh for them cuz they make fag music that no one cares about, then he went on to create one of the biggest legends in rock N' roll.

By overwhelming majority in this thread, Lemmy is declared as a sex god.

How about the metal god of sex? That guy (warts and all) has been with more women than all the guys on this board will in our combined lifetimes.
