So far it's okay. More mid-paced than earlier. I've got no high expectations though. The first song "The Serpentine Offering" is a great choice for a single, too.

Why don't you just listen for yourself?

It would be great if someone upload's it. My friend told me it's quite similar to DCA, but with more intense drumming. Maybe Hellhammer should just quit Mayhem and move on with Dimmu and Arcturus.

That reminds me that I have not heard it yet.
Hopefully it's faster and more brutal, but it don't really expect it to be that.

Its shit!! Why have Hellhammer on drums, then record the drums to sound so processed and synthetic that it wouldnt matter who was behind the kit?

IMO Hellhamer does best druming in Winds... And i think this album is nothing special even slightly worse than DCA

I gave up on this band putting anything worth buying a long time ago. With Astennu gone there are no longer any of the cool Guitar parts that Spritual Black Dimensions had, which that album is my favorite from them. Galder is a good Guitarist but he seems to reerve his best stuff for Old Man's Child. Any why even have Vortex in the band if you are going to barely use his awesome clean vocals.I'd rather just listen to Carpe Tenebrum at this point.

Thanks for the reminder about Winds. :dio: I'm looking to that new album about 1 million times more than this.

The mainstream press and Hot Topic kiddies could still lap this album up.

Cradle has always been better than Dimmu, but both bands are getting lazy and putting out bad albums now. They should probably call it quits and retire.

Call me a nutter, but recent Cradle has been of more interest to me than their early output.

I definitely prefer listening to For All Tid than the new Dimmu!

Ooh, new Dimmu! Instead of downloading it, I think I'll burn myself copies of Godless Savage Garden and Puritanical, smash them over my knee, randomly glue the pieces together in a vague cd-like-shape, and then give it a listen! Probably be exactly the same in terms of production quality and songwriting capabilities, one would think.
