Oh well, she was good, but not irreplacable.

She can do like Helen from Trail of Tears and make her own album. That Angel album is actually pretty decent.

On a serious note, I do wonder if she'll join any other band or put any of her own material out. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she does neither.

I wouldn't expect a big change in Tristania after her leaving, they only changed dramatically after Varland left because he was responcible for a lot of the writing.

I have the promos of both Sirenia's and Tristania's new albums and neither got a good listening from me because I got the vomits from listening to both of them. RIP Beyond The Veil :sad:

Wikipedia tells me that Sirenia is an order of fat, aquatic mammals which includes the manatees. :cool:

Well, first of all I think it's disrespectful to the fans that she didn't give us a reason for her departure. On the other hand, maybe it was something pretty serious and personal. Either way Beyond the Veil is the Tristania album. In fact, it is probably the only album that I've ever listened to that has given me goosebumps of goodness (interpret that as ye may). I do think their latest album is pretty good, but it would have been more acceptable if was not 'Tristania' and more 'The Vibeke Progression Project' or summink.

I agree both sirenia and tristanias new efforts are a let down for me... Beyond the vail and at sixes and sevens days are obviously gone...
